I earned my Master of Social Work from Simmons University with a specialization in trauma-informed care, and I am passionate about helping children and adolescents feel understood, supported, and empowered.
For more than 10 years, I have worked alongside young people in a variety of mental health settings, including schools, outpatient therapy, residential treatment, and an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support children and teens facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Along the way, I've facilitated DBT skills groups, completed comprehensive assessments, developed behavior support plans, provided individual counseling and case management, and collaborated closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you don't have to face things alone. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where children and teens can explore what's weighing on them, better understand themselves, and build the tools they need to thrive. Using a trauma-informed approach that incorporates CBT and DBT, I help clients strengthen emotional regulation, manage anxiety, process difficult experiences, build resilience, and develop greater confidence in themselves and their ability to navigate life's challenges.
