I focus on empowering my clients, helping them build on their strengths and develop the skills necessary to overcome obstacles. Whether you are a parent seeking guidance, a couple working through relationship challenges, or an individual navigating personal struggles, I am here to support you every step of the way.
I am master’s level mental health counselor with over 15 years of experience as a behavior analyst (BCBA/LABA) as well. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both public schools, private schools, residential placements, and outpatient settings. My background has provided me with the tools to effectively address a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges, particularly within the neurodiverse community.
I employ an integrated therapeutic approach, tailoring my methods to meet the specific needs of each client. My practice incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Systems Therapy. This blend of methodologies allows me to address the holistic needs of my clients, fostering resilience, understanding, and growth. I seek to understand the unique challenges that a client may face and strive to create a supportive environment where we can collaborate to explore the client’s concerns and develop practical strategies for positive change.
I have completed specialized training in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), an evidence-based approach developed at the Yale Child Study Center. SPACE focuses on helping parents support their child in managing anxiety and related challenges by making thoughtful changes in their own responses, rather than placing all the pressure on the child. In my work, I guide parents to gently recognize and reduce patterns that may unintentionally accommodate anxiety, while fostering warmth, confidence, and calm within the family. This compassionate, empowering approach strengthens the parent–child relationship and helps children grow braver, more independent, and more at ease in the world around them.
