I believe that everyone has the right to access to quality mental health treatment. Taking the step to seek help for oneself is a brave step and can be daunting. My over a decade of experience in the field as a clinician, as well as my experience as a clinical supervisor and running community mental health programs, has shown me that therapy is most successful when you connect with a therapist that you feel comfortable with and believes you should be in control of your own work. It is my role as the therapist to create a safe space to build a healthy therapeutic relationship to allow us to collaborate and assist you to make changes you wish to achieve in your life. It is not my job to judge your ideal life vision or to tell you what it should be, my job is to help you get there. As a clinician I take a holistic view of treatment, addressing both mind and body needs. My practice is always trauma informed and goal oriented. We will work together to identify your goals. I use a blend of CBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing as well as education on how the body functions to help folks make and sustain changes. I like to think “outside of the box” when it comes to approaches to coping with life stressors and/or symptoms – drawing from your likes and interests. I have extensive experience in working with trauma (both in children, adolescence and adults), gender, sexuality, family functioning, life transitions and with forensic issues including sexually problematic behavior. • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Child Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI)
