In this time of uncertainty with restrictions due to COVID-19, we welcome you to try a convenient new way to access therapy. A New Approach is now offering telehealth to all clients. All you need is an internet capable device...cell phone, tablet or computer.
This is how it works:
- Approximately 10 minutes before your appointment, you'll receive an email appointment reminder.
- Click the unique link embedded in the reminder. Your video call screen will now open in a new tab. When you are ready, click Join Video Call. It's that simple!
- If you wish to use your cell phone, it is easiest if you download Telehealth by SimplePractice (for iOS or Android) in the app store.
We want this to go as smoothly as possible for our clients, and sessions be as beneficial (or even more!) as in-person sessions.
Tips for client success:
- Identify a suitable room that is quiet, private, and free of distractions.
- To keep background noise to a minimum, make sure to close any doors, shut windows, turn off the television, and keep loud pets in another room if possible. Consider hanging a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door to avoid interruptions.
- Feel confident that our session is HIPPA compliant, private and confidential. None of our appointments will ever be recorded or stored.
