I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with extensive experience supporting children, youth, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I have a particular passion for working with individuals from first-generation, immigrant, bilingual, and bicultural backgrounds. Whether you are managing a significant transition, coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or bipolar disorder, or adjusting to a new environment, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel understood, respected, and supported.
In our work together, I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating them within a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework. I believe in collaborating with you to build on your inherent strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and progress toward your personal goals—at your pace and in a way that feels authentic to you. Central to my approach is fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, as I believe that is where meaningful healing and growth take root.
I am also deeply committed to the power of group therapy. Over the years, I have facilitated a wide range of groups, including play-based groups for young children, social skills groups, and specialized groups such as support for DCF-involved mothers and newcomer high school students adapting to life in the United States. I believe group spaces can be powerful communities of connection, learning, and mutual support—and I am passionate about helping people realize they are not alone in their experiences.
