Maryellen realizes that no two people are the same and as such tailors treatment to meet the specific needs of her clients. If you are struggling with anxiety, behavioral issues with a child, intrusive negative thoughts, or other areas you seek help in, she can assist you to recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way. She can provide resources and parent training to improve behavior and interactions in the home, and also consultations for school settings. Components of therapy may include solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, skill instruction, anger management, mindfulness exercises, behavioral interventions, and coaching. Additionally, Yelena provides family therapy and work with a therapy dog (upon request).
