I take a blended therapeutic approach in my practice and individualize treatment based on each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. I have worked for over 15 years with children and adolescents showing problem behaviors, frustrated parents wanting solutions, and individuals who feel overwhelmed with worry, stress, and trauma. Their progress and bravery has inspired me to narrow my focus to deliver the highest quality care. I have extensive experience using evidence-based practices and cutting edge treatment while working with children and adults with severe behavior disorders and autism spectrum disorder. I have special interests in autism, social skills, non-suicidal self injury, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, behavior analysis, providing training to others in the field, and participating in thought leadership opportunities. I have worked in residential settings, partial hospitals, out-patient clinics, and case consultation with other professionals. I possess a Master’s Degree in mental health counseling and also Graduate Certificates in forensic services and Applied Behavior Analysis.
