I have always wanted to help others with empathy and kindness. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience & Behavior from Simmons College and then worked as a medical assistant in an internal medicine office for three years. It was through that experience that I learned how important access to mental health care is for all. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree. My clinical interests include mood disorders, substance use, and trauma. I have experience with Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have worked for an outpatient clinic and an inpatient center for individuals with depression, anxiety, substance use disorder and compulsive behaviors. LGBTQIA+ ally.
